Pizza Pizza!

I went to Teacher's Pay Teachers on their big 'Back To School' sale to buy a pizza fraction game for my kids.  I found a lot of pizza themed products, but I could not find the type of game I had in mind.  When I told my kids that their game didn't exist, they replied, "Let's just make it!"

So we did!  Thank-you Sarah Trefethen for helping us with all the graphics.  We are now enjoying the new game and I don't think the kids even realize they are learning all about fractions at the same time.

Just Bats!

Here is a glimpse of my BATTY Halloween package.  I focused on 3 real types of bats: Vampire, Little Brown Bats, and the Fruit Bat- or Flying Fox.  The package has crafts, ABC and number printables, fact pages and a bunch of worksheets that are engaging and visual for littler learners.  50 pages included!

Spiders

Here come my Halloween posts.  I'm going to start out with my spiders.  This simple craft was one of my very first posts on Teachers Pay Teachers.  I've updated the format and added more crafts to the package since then and it is still a teacher favorite because of all the variations it allows.

There are 3 main designs in this package:  The Spelling Spider with lined paper legs, a girl or boy spider fun craft and a blank spider fun craft.  I included blank legs and numbered legs for different projects.

The spelling lined legs are wonderful- All eight legs fit on one page so kids can write on them easily and then cut them out.  The completed spiders are kind of big and fun to see hanging around the classroom!
